1 oz Brandy or Cognac
1 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Sugar
Spread sugar on small plate. Rub lemon wedge around rim of chilled martini or coupe glass. Dip moistened side of glass in sugar to lightly coat outside rim of glass. Set aside.
In cocktail shaker, combine Brandy, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Add ice and shake vigorously, about 30 seconds. Strain into prepared glass and serve.
*Adjust to your sweet-sour liking by adding a splash of orange juice or if you prefer a specific brand of liquor.
